Like its namesake, this fine mounding plant (to 2') covers a lot of color-territory: its whorls of narrow leaves are a rich purple and green while its bright spring flowers are yellow, tinted again with purple and green. S-PSh/M
Dark burgundy foliage provides a great foil for the small yellow flowers on a 12" -24" plant. Self seeding can be a slight nuisance, but the seedlings pull up very easily.
Purple leaves often marbled green, with yellow springtime blossoms flushed bronze. Fall colors of orange, scarlet and plum. Self-sows. Hardy to 0F. Southern Europe.
Purple foliage topped with yellow/orange flowers. About 18" tall. Makes a nice clump. Comes true from seed. Likes sun. but will grow in light shade.
