South African succulent euphorbia whose base resembles a pinecone or cycad base with leafy foliage on top. Yellow cyathia (flowers) at top of plant. Deciduous, drops leaves in the winter. Branching comes with age. Seems to be a heavy feeder, but do not overwater or overfeed in the winter.
Multiple stems to 8", deciduous, very poisonous latex. Hardy to 28 °F if dry.
