Heralding a passionate array of toasty colors, this smaller sized cultivar was selected by British gardener John Fitt and introduced in 1929. Hearty, lance-shaped green leaves support a multitude of sizzling salsa-red, star-styled blooms, which showcase luminous yellow centers fringed with darker tangerine shades.
Spicy orange-red flowers on slightly more compact stems in late summer (Aug-Sept) will set the season for others' bright fall colors. Sun/Med
This is a floriferous selection which we are hard pressed to distinguish from 'Emberglow' except that this is just a scosh, a tad, indeed a mere smidgeon lighter in color than 'Emberglow'. Small funnels of orange red flowers in profusion.
