Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Exotic looking clump of big, bold, bronzed leaves 2’ tall and eventually 3-4’ wide; cream to rose colored plumes rise above foliage in June, nice in cut arrangements. Likes a deep, rich soil with consistent moisture; doesn’t like competing with aggressive tree roots; light shade, AM SUN.

Lovely burnished reddish bronze new growth with a stippled and puckered texture like finely tooled walrus hide on a set of antique luggage. Makes you cringe doesn't it? But what beautiful bags! This plant is equally sturdy with leaves maturing to green and rich plumes of pink flowers.
