Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Thanks to Jeffry Brusseau for sharing seeds of this enormous, extremely vigorous, never-suckering Agave with “the most intense silver color.” The only problem is, we have no idea what species it is (for you Agave geeks it's probably something in the Americanae judging by the shape of the flower stalk). It's hard to tell when it's dead—grow it and let me know!  From a garden in Vista, CA.  DS.
