Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This collection from 5,700' in the Sierra Ancha Mountains in Arizona is probably similar in hardiness to the above collection. The plants were also about 4' wide (but in this case, did not increase in size much as I dropped in altitude) and had more of a tendency to form offsets (many were still solitary, but the plant from which I collected had a few offsets). A. parryi also grows in this area; and as Gentry has mentioned that these two species may intergrade with each other in this area, it's not out of the question that some interesting hybrids may arise from this batch of seed!
