    Polygonatum x hybridum 'Striatum' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial groundcover with green, variegated and white foliage. In spring green and white flowers emerge. Grows well with mostly sun - shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    Lovely, vigorous hybrid with rhizomatous spreading curving stems to 3’ tall…showy foliage is pleated and puckered with irregular creamy white margins and streaking. Dangling white bells decorate the stems in mid spring. Moist, organic soils in morning sun or light shade. This plant will overrun wimpy neighbors, but good under shrubs and with large ferns.

    Useful and easy to grow white-variegated selection of Solomon's Seal that stands out like a beacon in the green-heavy shade garden. We like their arching stems, glossy leaves, which resemble corn, and the small, pendulous flowers which appear in abundance each spring. Plant amid ferns, hostas, or other shade dwellers, repeating clumps if necessary to create pockets of brightness and cheer. Height to 24-30". Regular moisture. Frost hardy to USDA zone 3.

    Of the various variegated Solomon's seals this one is my favourite with much bolder streaks highlighting not just the leaf edges but also venturing towards the leaf's centre. The arching stems reach about two feet holding pendulous white flowers with green tips.
