    Polygonatum prattii is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In spring purple flowers emerge followed by purple and red fruit. Features glossy texture. Grows well with bright shade - shade and even moisture water. Does well in average and rich soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

    We got this as P. prattii, but these plants don't seem to match the species. We're not sure what it actually is (any polygonatum experts out there want to help us out?) but it is pretty cool. The usual arching stems to a couple feet with glossy green leaves. The dangling flowers are quite distinctive, white on the outside, yellow liberally marked with chocolate brown on the inside. ZONE 4
