Spectacular! huge, camellia-like 2-3" double deep-red flowers appear on this fast-growing, compact (to 3'h x 5'w) shrub early in spring to chase winter away!; followed by showy, fragrant yellow fruits in fall. PSh/M
We received this plant many years ago and have been enjoying it ever since. "Nishiki" means variance or variegated in Japanese. At a young age the plant blooms white, and as it matures, the blossoms develop a soft peach tone. Quite an intriguing bush.

This small spreading quince will only get to 18" tall. The rich red flowers are double in the early spring. This plant would make an excellent wall plant or groundcover.
