Nursery contributed plant descriptions

I absolutely adore this South African native of the Campanula family. It loves growing here in our similar Mediterranean climate. Masses of blooms from late Spring thru Fall! The 3/4”, narrow, flaring, cupped-shaped, soft blue flowers are borne on myriads of slender stems that curve out & up, giving it a nice character. The foliage is low & mat forming & will spread to 2’ wide & remain fairly evergreen. Totally easy to grow, just cut back severely after flowering, feed sometime in late winter or early Spring & watch it go. Perfect for spilling over the edge of a bed or a rock wall, excellent in a container (at least 12”) & gorgeous with Agastache rupestris.
