Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the fun & fabulous "peony" poppies, this is my favorite. The color- (which is impossible to photograph) a rich dark purple-maroon is stunning. If you give these poppies rich soil, water them and plant them at least 1' apart they will reward you with huge 4 - 5" incredibly double "peony" flowers, and undoubtedly impress your friends. Spring blooming - 3 - 4' tall, Reseeds! Mid to back of border.
