Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Rare, beautiful, very easy to grow & yet, almost unobtainable, this South African perennial blooms from April till June. The 2” across, lavender daisies have a distinctive, bright crimson ring around the yellow center & are held atop 12”, upright, slender stems. The low, bright green foliage makes a thick clump. If allowed to go dry during the Summer (as it does in its native habitat), it will go dormant until Fall rains revive it. Thrives in sandy, as well as ordinary garden soil.
