Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Year around bloom and a fantastic compact habit make this one of my favorite recommendations for new gardeners, as well as everyone else! Selected by Texas nurseryman Tom Peace, ‘Tight and Tidy’ is a highly improved form of (usually 3’ tall) “Blue Marguerite Daisy” that stays a dense 16” high and 30” wide. Bursting into a mass of rich blue daisies in Spring – it just keeps going all the way to Fall when deadheaded. No straggly behavior over time, its amazing performance makes it a choice ground cover! Drought, clay and sand tolerant, side-dress with an annual dose of compost and cut back in Winter to give it a rest. Evergreen.
