Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Do you love the wonderful, big, chartreuse flower heads of Euphorbia characias but it’s just too big for your small garden in general? Well, this dwarf form grows to only 2.5’ tall, so you can make new combinations with it closer to the front of your beds. And the flowers are just as big as the full-sized version, which makes it super-showy! Perfect for parking strips where it won’t get bumped into. Plant in sweeps for a real show stopper in Spring. Reseeds! (Or just deadhead if you don’t want the extra volunteers!) When deadheading, cut the entire stem to the base. Provide some shade in hotter areas. As with all Euphorbias, avoid getting the milky sap on your skin as it can be an irritant.
