Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Another magical tree, this ?cousin? of the more common C. japonicum is a somewhat smaller tree (to 30', rather than 60') with somewhat larger (>5") handsome rounded foliage, vividly colored and spicily scented in fall. S/M
Cercidiphyllum magnificum is a smaller growing katsura tree from China. We got our plant 45 years ago from MSK Nursery in Seattle. This is my favorite tree in our garden. The arching braches will grow out horizontally. Great pink-yellow fall color.
A magnificent species of Cercidiphyllum. This tree grows larger than C. japonicum, to as much as 70' with 30' spread. The brown bark is smooth on the trunk, and the leaves are larger and a more pronounced heart shape than the above species.
