Amaranthus' make outstanding garden subjects, and this Amaranthus really, stands out! Topped by a flower cluster that looks like a big, ruby colored, “Jesters Hat” or a hand with one finger humorously extended, this Amaranth makes for fun in the garden. A strong, easy and sturdy plant, it grows 3’-5’ tall and has striking bronzy foliage. Birdies love the seed heads! Place in a sunny corner, or back to middle of bed or near a vegetable garden. Young leaves can be used like spinach. Rich soil is best.
