Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A year doesn’t go by without me planting this fabulous must-have Chilean native in my gardens. Held on countless freely branching upright stems to 3 feet tall, hundreds of soft apricot blooms keep coming for months – we’re talking major bang-for-the-buck here! Cut back to 6” when she’s finally all bloomed out, ply with a little compost & you’ll get a second burst of bloom. By the coast in Sunset zones 16 & 17 it will go into full bloom & look spectacular all Winter too! “Mask Flower” likes rich soil and looks great mid-border & in mixed containers too. It will live 1-2 years in our milder areas. To 3’ high & 1.5’ wide. Self-sows!
