Nursery contributed plant descriptions

It’s hard to resist the allure of a killclassically red poppy! This tall single flowered variety is a luscious ruby red with a dark plum blotch at the base of each petal. Gorgeous! Fab mixed with other cottagey wildflowers, or massed in a field by a yellow brick road to make passersby sleepy. Plant early in the season in rich soil for best show, & underplant with shorter flowers to compliment (as plants tend to get tall, & look best with shorter company). Flowers are easily more than 3” across, on 2-4’ tall plants. Reseeds! Due to Agricultural Restrictions we cannot ship this plant to West Virginia.
