This is a very beautiful lavender poppy with dark purple blotches at petal base and wavy edges. It produces the blue-grey or glossy-black poppy seed used in cooking. To 3 1/2 ft tall. Full Sun. Avg. Water. Rich soil makes more robust plants. To keep blossoms coming, cut off spent blooms. You can even cut the whole plant back by a third and new buds will spring from each leaf node. Note: Shade of lavender may vary. Reseeds! Due to Agricultural Restrictions we cannot ship this plant to West Virginia.
