Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The bluish/green sprawling stems of this spurge resemble the old favorite house plant "Burros Tail". Brilliant flowers are produced in early Spring at the tip of each stem. I let it seed around the garden and who knows where it will pop up, wherever it does, it's welcome.
This unusual rockery, wall, container or front of the border plant has mounding, floppy stems with powder blue, semi-succulent, evergreen leaves arranged in close spirals around the stems. Stunning when it flowers in early spring with showy yellow bracts. Drought tolerant.
Waxed silvery blue, evergreen leaves held in succulent spirals make this stalwart perennial appear otherwordly. In midwinter, its thick trailing stems grow upward, fashioning an 8 in. tall base for the starry, lime-green flowers and lemon-yellow bracts, which form large brilliant crowns, highlighted with pinkish streaks. A Eurasian native undaunted by cold, heat or drought, Euphorbia myrsinites brings an exotic flavor to a well drained site in the rockery or atop a dry stone wall.
Donkey Tail Spurge is a good choice for a well drained gravel soil. It's trailing stems clothed with glaucous blue foliage terminate in clusters of chartreuse flowers in April. The blossoms fade to a delicious apricot color in late April-early May. E. myrsintes looks fabulous when its sprawling stems emerge through patches of Viola labradorica's dark purple foliage.
This is an easy, tough, tidy groundcover that lends marvelous texture to rock gardens & is great trailing over rock walls. With spirally arranged leaves, its foot-long blue stems terminate in clusters of lime green flowers in Spring that persist for months. Dead head before it self-sows, as it reseeds easily, & is considered invasive in some parts of the Western US. Drought & heat tolerant, this Euphorbia is very durable, resistant to deer, & bad soil. Euphorbia sap is toxic, & may irritate skin, so be careful when pruning. Due to Agricultural Restrictions we cannot ship this plant to Colarado or Oregon.
