(INSIDE OUT FLOWER) Glossy leafed ground cover mounds reminiscent of Epimedium native to SW Oregon and NW California, evergreen 6-12” tall and slow spreading.  Part to full shade, prefers moisture but takes some dry shade when established; organic, well drained soils are ideal.  Leaves will bronze attractively in some sun.  Late spring, early summer blooms – wiry stems support white clusters of small, pointed flowers. Deer and rabbit resistant. USDA Z7-9      3” pot
An excellent choice for out under the Doug Fir where you just can't seem to get enough water for anything to thrive. This West Coast native is low growing, to only 8-12" tall, and produces charming tiny white flowers with a spot of red dangle in spring. Shade is best, possibly some morning sun, in fertile soil with mulch. Needs water to establish and tolerates prolonged drought thereafter. Evergreen in USDA zone 8; root hardy to -10F, zone 6.
Evergreen perennial to 2' tall forms broad, lacy, carpets from spreading rhizomes. Graceful, slender and fern-like, it is fully deciduous in cold-winter areas. Features medium green, shallowly lobed leaflets held on wiry stems. Flowers are small and white, carried abundantly in clusters. Plant in light to medium shade in reasonably well-drained soil with moderate to regular water. Useful as groundcover in partial shade, a woodland garden or shaded rock garden. Hardy to 10F. Oregon to Central California.
Shiny firm foliage, rounded and lobed, on slender stalks to 18". Sprays of small white flowers. Creeping evergreen ground cover for woodland garden.
