Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of only three species of this epimedium relative, this an endemic to the Siskiyou mountains of southern Oregon and Northern California, evergreen leaves blushing red with light or winter frost and undersided blue with creamy yellow flowers dancing above in spring. Slow growing to form 12-18"" clumps. Seems to look best under your local manzanita. Summer dry, dappled shade to full shade. USDA zone 7.
