This is a fine upright specimen quickly reaching 30- 40' high with a somewhat rounded crown. Smaller leaves than other elms create a nice texture; they are dark-green before turning a lovely reddish-purple in fall, grayish bark has copper markings for winter interest. Very good resistance to Dutch elm disease and elm yellows; also tolerates pollution making it an excellent choice for urban settings. A US National Arboretum introduction; perfect for smaller yards and city streets. S/M
Disease resistant tree slowly growing to 30' tall. This elm has a pyramidal habit and reddish fall colors.
