Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Is there anything more elegant for the woodland garden in spring than wafts of trilliums? T. catesbaei is a rare trillium with blush pink downward facing blooms with recurved petals. It hails from the Appalachian Mountains of the eastern US. All of our trilliums are nursery grown.
This seldom offered woodland beauty grows wild throughout the southeastern regions of our country in dry oak and pine woodlands. Borne singularly atop an erect stem, each dainty nodding 1 _ in. bloom features three unique sickle-shaped petals flushed with soft pink to darker rosy hues, punctuated by prominent golden yellow anthers, twisting in an irregular outward fashion. A purple-tinged green stem supports three handsome green whorled leaves, which don lustrous surfaces and upright elliptical outlines sharply tapering to pointed tips
A small species with nodding flowers, we grow a mix of pink and the rarer alpine white forms, in general it is slow to clump up however I have seen large clumps in the Case garden.
Known as the rose trillium because of its sweet scent from nodding white to pale pink flowers. Don't be without this one!
