Nursery contributed plant descriptions

For a bit of fleeting beauty 'Silva' has a subtle but so effective silver strip down the mid-rib of the leaf in youth. Hooded and tongued, mauve and purple flower clusters bloom in spring on substantial and sturdy 16 inch clumps. Minimum temperature: -10°F
The King of Lamiums, this is a robust perennial that reduces the more familiar Lamiums to the status of serfs. What differentiates this selection from the species is the silver splashes on the leaves especially in spring. Long bloom period with showy pouchy mauve pink flowers in clusters.
This mint relative isn't your typical Lamium. Unlike most, which are (weedy) groundcovers, this one is not weedy, upright to 18 inches and features pink flowers. In cooler shady conditions the foliage may get some silver mottling in the center.
