Hardier than most fragrant jasmines, this vigorous (to 15-20') vine provides fence or trellis with soft-green compound leaves all year and fragrant pink flowers in summer. S/M
Vining to 25’ tall in a space about 4’ wide, this jasmine has soft leaves that are evergreen in warmer winters and twines nicely if given a little support. FRAGRANT light pink mini trumpets in summer attract hummers and scent the air. Best in well-drained soil with regular moisture and protected from the hottest late afternoon sun. Good in pots. Seldom offered and choice! Thank you Grace Peterson for sharing this with us!!
Fragrant blush-pink trumpets broadcast their scent from twining green stems to 15.' Periodically cut back hard to the ground to rejuvenate.Minimum temperature: 0°F
A deliciously scented jasmine, the delicate fragrance intensifying in a warm, sheltered position in sun to partial shade. Hummingbirds visit the shell-pink flowers as soon as they open from furled rose pink buds. A great low maintenance twining vine that blooms early summer and grows easily in a large pot. Pair with honeysuckle 'Serotina' on an arbor for continuous bloom. In northern areas bring indoors in winter into a cool sunny room or enclosed porch- for this award winner is one to keep!
With a divine fragrance that summons up warm exotic places, this vigorous mostly evergreen Jasmine is surprisingly hardy. Loose cymes bear deep pink buds and flared, long tubular light pink blooms surrounded by slender angular green shoots and small, ovate-shaped matte green leaves, which are often edged in creamy yellow. Though hybridized in France, it can also be found scrambling throughout the wilds of western China, where both of its parents, Jasminum beesianum and Jasminum officinale, reside. Be sure to provide ample space, cut back or thin out as needed in early spring and situate wherever its sheer beauty and sweet perfume can be easily savored. Medium Band.
A vigorous climbing vine with pale pink fragrant flowers during June. The pink flowers have long tubes that flare out on a loose cyme, fading to mother of pearl white as they mature. Hardy zone 7. Hummingbirds love this plant. Pale green leaves, full sun to part shade.
I'm always impressed when I see this vine in the landscape. The new growth is a very pale green, almost chartreuse, before it matures. Jasminum x Stephanense sports clusters of fragrant pink flowers in late spring and repeats into summer. A fine, easy to grow, vine. Hybrid Jasmine.
Pink fragrant flowers May-June. Semi-evergreen. Hummingbird fave. Thin out old stems. Hardy to Zone 7.
When in bloom, the hummingbirds flock to it. You can observe hummingbirds up close when they are feeding on this vine -- totally ignoring you. Nice fragrance. Strong grower w/ really lovely foliage. Books are just WRONG about the hardiness. There was a big debate on some forum about this. Ours lived in pots OUTSIDE in Zone 7 the first winter we realized they were hardy. We were selling them as tender perennials and just left them outside at the end of the season because we got too busy, and voila! -- in spring, in little 4" pots they were alive and not even very aggravated! I can't speak for all the plants in the world, but our clone is hardy to Zone 5.
