We cannot keep this in stock! This dramatic perennial has erect, bright pomegranate red stems 3' tall topped by burnt orange flowers for many weeks, starting in late April…plants are about 3' wide (but can get wider over time). For a real stunner, surround this Euphorb with Princess Irene Tulips!! Deer proof, gopher proof. Prefers sun (at least a half day)…most soils, average water. This is a bold and brilliant beauty!
Give this baby plenty of room as it loves to sprawl. The brilliant orange Poinsettia like flowers seemingly last for months as they slowly fade. Good cut flower.
Each spring the vigorous erect stems emerge from the dark soil like firey tongues warming the hearts of winter-chilled gardeners everywhere. Soon after the flame-orange flowers begin to form. As a mature plant 'Fireglow' grows to about three feet tall with red stems and blue-green foliage that turns crimson red in autumn. Wonderful in containers. Clumps get progressively larger with time and can spread into other perennials so keep your eyes on it.
This bold native of the Himalayas and western Asia warms any rock garden and makes a magnificent companion to Corydalis f. 'Blue Panda' and Kerria 'Albiflora'. 'Fireglow's flame orange bracts and brick-colored flowers stand torchlike on strong pomegranate red stems, and its soft green foliage blushes crimson and yellow in the fall.
A bushy perennial that grows to 3' tall and spreads slowly by creeping roots, though not aggressively. Orange-red flowers in terminal umbels appear from late spring to early summer. Lance-shaped green leaves with pale red midribs. Regular water and full sun. Himalaya.
Glowing orange-red bracts are stunning in April and make a handsome matched paired with deciduous Spiraea 'Goldmound' 3' tall and spreading. Herbaceous.
