Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the most productive of fruit plants, these American native 3-4' wet-land shrubs were bred in Europe for crop use. Nero has profuse larger fruit for juice and jelly, as well as glossy foliage and nice red fall color. S/M-W
If you like Aronias you will like Nero and Viking. (I can't tell them apart), as they produce massive clusters of decent sized berries. Probably a person would process them to juice or jam or something.
White flowers in May. Compact growth to 4' tall and wide with loads of inky-black fruit in late fall. Red fall foliage.
