Rumor has we’re in for a cold patch in the Pacific Northwest, and so many are already experiencing the vagaries of weather. Here’s hoping we all get through relatively unscathed–with gobs of green goodness on the other side.

A few shots in my garden before it all goes to mush–or so we shall see.

Nolina ‘La Siberica’

Mahonia gracilipes

x Gordlinia grandiflora

Nandina domestica

Mister snuggled in for inclement weather.

Nothing left to do now but curl up with plant catalog and plan next season hi-jinks. I know one thing for certain, I’m going to need a bigger Chinese Parasol Tree. It was visited upon by marauding rabbits.

Next time I’ll get a big enough Parasol Tree to thwart them. I couldn’t see it from the yard side, tucked as it was behind the Rhodocoma capensis. But the little furry guys could.

Rhodocoma capnensis never fails to delight, or provide good cover for rabbits.

Hakonechloa macra aka Japanese Forest Grass for year round-interest, and additional bunny hiding spots.

Cheers
