Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Little lily relation from New Zealand, with purple, grassy leaves, to 10" tall, in slowly spreading clumps to 12" wide, a colorful groundcover that seeds itself in a nice way. Tiny but numerous white, bell shaped-flowers hover above the dark foliage in summer. Great in the goth garden. Half sun to shade is best with regular summer water. Evergreen to 20 °F and frost hardy to 5 °F, mid USDA zone 7.
Short 3-4” clumps of burgundy plum infused, spotted grassy foliage…small, white floral stars float above the foliage on wiry 6-10” stems in summer…the effect is ethereal! Quite easy in well drained soil (there must be no clay in New Zealand), sun on the coast, part shade inland. Prefers regular moisture. Creates a little patch where happy…evergreen in warmer winters. Sweet!!
New Zealand native with linear leaves mottled with purple and brown. Starry white flowers on 8 inch stems.
