Agave desmettiana 'Variegata' is an evergreen cactus / succulent with blue, chartreuse, green, variegated and white foliage. Features glaucous texture. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in average, gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.
Bright golden yellow edges on arching, fleshy leaves creates an elegant urn-like form that is a sensational focal point for the landscape or a large container. Foliage has tiny, marginal thorns.
This plant has been grown in a 6 inch pot. You will receive a very similar plant to the one in the picture. The plant is shipped "dry-root" (without soil).
