Xeronema callistemon is a challenging to grow, slow-growing broadleaf evergreen perennial with green foliage. In spring and summer red flowers emerge followed by brown fruit. Features grassy texture. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular water. Does well in rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
