More compact and earlier to bloom, this 5-6' all-season shrub offers dense dark-green evergreen foliage and pretty, pink flower buds that appear as early as December! Bright-white flowers in early spring followed by blue-black fruit. This shrub makes a great hedge or border and is also salt tolerant. S-PSh/M
Spirit Viburnum is a beautiful evergreen shrub that is perfect for screens and hedges. The flowers cover the plant in early spring but if the plants are pruned they will flower again throughout the summer. By late summer or into the fall berries appear that are silver-metalic-blue. 'Sprit' was bred specifically for its use in flower arrangements both with the spring flowers but also the berry clusters, which are really the most attractive part of the plant.
Like most evergreens, 'Spirit' Viburnum is a slow to medium rate grower and needs only infrequent pruning to keep a formal shape. These plants also branch heavily without heavy pruning which makes this an excellent choice for those who keep low-maintenance gardens.

A broadleaf evergreen with year-round appeal. Very clean, dark green leaves with reddish stems provide the perfect backdrop for a summer, fall, and winter display of pink buds that open to clusters of white flowers. 'Spirit' is a bit more compact than the species, making it an excellent choice for hedges and formal screens. Tolerates shade and salt spray. Upright habit.
