A low, rounded, squat plant with juvenile foliage that is rich blue and crowded on the branches. Remains stable under cultivation & does not send out strong leaders like it's parent 'Meyeri'. When he saw it in Amsterdam, Dirr said "it truly shown like a silver-blue star". Rich foliage color.

DWARF. This is probably the best of the blue junipers. It is slow growing yet vigorous enough to hold its own in a weed patch. The interesting star shape, dainty, steel blue foliage is beautiful. Low growing and excellent for rock gardens or mass planting. Stands sun, wind, drought and cold and achieves a height of 3' with greater spread over time.

Striking bright blue foliage on a low, mounding shrub. Calling it “showy” is an understatement; it positively glows in the landscape. Winter color is a dark steel blue. AGM winner. 2-3' x 3-4'.
