Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Strikingly striped white and green, this smaller (to 14-18") shade-loving grass, which is rosy-pink in cool temperatures, will brighten up any dark corner; an easy and elegant shade groundcover. PSh-Sh/M PPAF
Hakonechloa Fubuki is Japanese for "snow storm". This beautiful cultivar has bold green and creamy white variegated foliage. New foliage often exhibits a slight pink flush. Fubuki is a knock out plant for the shade garden or in shade containers as a contrasting plant with burgundy Heuchera and blue Hosta.
Green, white, and pink leaves.
This sport of Hakone Grass, introduced by Briggs Nursery, has a cleaner white striping than other white varieigated forms. Cooler tems will bring a pinkish cast to the foliage. Smaller and somewhat slower growing than other Hakonechloa selections at 14", it will slowly form expanding clumps of 2' or more. Most striking when planted en masse.
A sparkling new introduction with a wide white variegation that pulls in pink and purple hues. Protect from too much direct sun.
Discovered in our TC Lab, as a sport of 'Aureola' our new Hakonechloa is named FUBUKI
