E. SIKOKIANUS - is a large size E. campanulatus variety. The leaves are a little larger but the plant seems to be faster and bolder tan the typical E. campanulatus. The fall color is stunning red and the flowers are cream with red stripes. Giving a dark pink red look.

Colorful for 3 seasons, this Enkianthus' emerging foliage and stems are flushed red, and the fall color is blazing scarlet. Perhaps the most richly colored flowers to be found on an enkianthus. Pendant clusters of dark maroon buds open in late spring to bell-shaped flowers of dark red with streaks of light pink. Fall color is variable, but a blend of yellow, orange, and red can be expected. An excellent specimen or woodland plant.
