Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A hardy, easy to grow, no maintainence, and extremely long lived perennial . It is dormant in the summer; in early fall, it produces dainty pink flowers with maroon marking in center on 4-5" stems; in late fall thru spring, mounds of variegated marbled silver grey foliage. The foliage stays until late spring, when the plant goes dormant again to restart the cycle. Hardy zone 5a-9b. Likes lt shade to shade and well drained soil.
With dainty pink blooms poised above, a silver effulgence splashes across the surface of each polished, prominently veined leaf in a unique fashion, sometimes concealing any sign of greenery, while rich wine hues warm the undersides. Place 'Silver Leaf Pink' beneath Elaeagnus 'Quicksilver' to enhance the elegant frosty display. Hardy to zone 5.
Light pink flowers, which bloom in September. The leaves are silver in color and remain beautiful in the winter months.
