Cyclamen coum is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with blue, green and variegated foliage. In fall and winter magenta and pink flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with bright shade - shade and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer, dry when dormant. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.

You'll appreciate and look forward to the multitude of lovely pink-to-white flowers the flat tubers of this woodlander can produce in very early spring (or even winter!), along with its silver variegated foliage. PSh/M/humus-rich
Beautiful low growing (2-3”), rounded leaves, patterned and veined in silver emerge in fall & persist into spring. Striking flowers on 4” stems in shades of rose, pink, or white parade thru winter to early spring; site slowly expanding clumps where they can be appreciated & seen up close (around stepping stones or along a path). Similar to C. hederifolium, described below, with the exception of a more rounded leaf and even more variable flower color, this species flowers after the foliage appears, usually in November in my garden, and continues through the end of the year.

The leaves are heart shaped displaying pale to darker green and in early spring the flowers show shades of pale pink to magenta. It prefers the shade and generally grows vigorously in zone 4.
