Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The silvery-pink buds open to reveal rose and deep-pink, single flowers whose petals ring a gloriously bright golden-yellow center. This 2-3' perennial does indeed add charm to the fall garden, especially when planted en masse in the woodland garden. Anemones are a classic cottage garden flower and also add delightful color to the autumn bouquet. PSh/M
Large silvery-pink single flowers with yellow centres and wonderful seed heads that follow. Great for the middle or back of the border. Once thought to be of A. hupehensis but now thought to be a hybrid of that species with A. vitifolia.

Reaches 2-3' with drooping, cup-shaped rose-pink flowers.
Loads of single rose-pink flowers in late summer. The slightly cupped petals, arranged around a center of yellow stamens, have an old-fashioned charm. A good cut flower for home use. AGM winner.
