Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Dark glossy leaves provide a nice background for the excellent early floral display and large quantities of sweet blue fruits that this 6' suckering shrub produces; an A. canadensis selection. S-PSh/M PP6040
This hybrid is noted for its large flowers and fruit, which are borne on a relatively compact, suckering shrub. Each pure white bloom measures nearly an inch across, and each deliciously sweet, deep purple fruit is a full 1/2" in diameter. You'll have to get up early to beat the birds to the harvest. Orange-red fall color. Young plants often bloom their second year.
