A vigorous and open growing variety with deep pink flowers. The long, drooping flower clusters appear in spring and persist through summer. During the growing season, the slender, upright branches wear tiny gray-green needlelike leaves, similar to the scalelike foliage of Junipers. In the fall, the foliage drops to expose coarse textured yellowish brown bark--really artistic!
