Sisyrinchium angustifolium 'Lucerne' has large, bright blue, star-shaped flowers with yellow centres held on grass-like foliage typically 12 inches or more high. This cultivar is noted for its profuse bloom and large, one inch wide flowers. Prefers poor to moderately fertile soils in full to part sun. Native from Manitoba to Newfoundland and south to Texas and Florida.
