Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Sedum 'Frosted Fire' is a variegated cultivar of ‘Autumn Fire’ with its improved form over the classic ‘Autumn Joy’ with fuller, longer lasting flower clusters and stronger, more upright stems. The rosy pink flowers age through salmon-bronze to copper-red shades. Strong, thick stems remain upright and do not collapse under the weight of the succulent grey-green foliage with its creamy margins. Upright stonecrops are useful nearly year round: mounds of succulent new growth in early spring, structural upright clumps through summer, heads of showy flower heads in late summer and fall, and dried flower stems in winter. Use in the border and container, as a mass planting, and for cut and dried flowers. Provides seed for overwintering birds. Popular with bees and butterflies. Deer resistant.
