    Salvia darcyi is a broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial herb with green foliage. In fall and summer orange and red flowers emerge. Attracts beneficial insects and hummingbirds. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular water. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

    Hot stuff with cold hardiness! This species was originally collected by Yucca Do Nursery in the Sierra Madre range of central Mexico. In gardens, give it plenty of space and stand back to enjoy the electric spikes of pinkish red flowers in late summer. To 4 feet tall by 6 feet wide in full sun. Hardy to USDA zone 6a when kept dry in winter.
