    Ophiopogon japonicus 'Comet' is an evergreen perennial groundcover grass (or grassy in appearance) with variegated foliage. In summer white flowers emerge. Grows well with mostly sun - shade and even moisture - regular water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

Spreads slowly by underground rhizomes, making small, bright clumps in part sun with regular summer water. Frost hardy to -10F, USDA zone 6.
