    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Like Gert Boyle of Columbia Sportswear, this is one tough mother. Hardy and thrives in Portland’s summers and winters given a bit of summer water and excellent drainage. Single stemmed foliage plant until a decade passes and 15 ft white flower stalks stun you. Full sun best. Frost hardy in USDA zone 8.
