Hymenocallis liriosme spider lily is a great border plant with glossy strap leaves growing to 2 feet tall. It will also flower white then petal flowers mid to late summer. These flowers are 4 to 5 inches across. Most spider lily's are considered zone 7 hardy. I have found that with some mulching or leaf covering in winter I can over winter it fine in zone 6.
