The dramatic large chartreuse leaves have irregular dark green edges and deep veins. The white to pale lavender flowers are fragrant. Together these characteristics lead 'Guacamole' to be Hosta of the Year for 2002. Leaf colouration intensifies with more light and age. A sport of 'Fragrant Bouquet'. Green on green variegate with a cute name, it is very popular but doesn't do much for me, perhaps I lack the subtle Hosta appreciation gene.
Upright mound of chartreuse aging quickly to shiny gold streaked leaves with wide dark green margins. Outstanding specimen & excellent grower! Fragrant, light lavender flowers on tall scapes in late summer. Light shade to full sun. Large hosta.
Apple green leaves with wide green edge streaking towards center. Huge white very fragrant flowers in August.
