An impressive, very large Hosta introduced by Mildred Seaver, forming climps 7' across and 30" high. Deep green foliage has a silvery cast. White flowers are born on 40" scapes in mid summer.
This Mildred Seaver introduction has lately been gaining in popularity. Whether because of its name or durable constitution, 'Komodo Dragon' forms a large mound (sometimes to seven feet!) of heart-shaped gray-green leaves with bold ribbing. Pale lavender flowers open in early summer. A good variety for the back of the border or specimen use.
Open, semi-vase shaped mound of thick, blue tinted, dark green leaves with evenly rippled margins; Vigorous and pest resistant. Pale lavender flowers in mid summer. Plant in afternoon to full shade. Giant hosta.
