The amazing dark wine-purple foliage of this 4' x 4' shrub makes it a standout even before 8" pink flowers with their deep magenta eyes and veining appear over a mid-summer-to-frost period. S/M (sun for color) Walters PP20443
This hybrid has the darkest wine purple, maple-like foliage ever seen on a perennial Hibiscus. This plant produces large 8-10 inch wide, pink flowers with rose veining and a deep magenta eye that radiates out onto the petals. It makes an amazing display in the summer and fall garden. Provide full sun and good moisture during the growing season.
Yet another excellent selection from Walters, a compact clone with deep wine purple foliage and huge 10" rose pink flowers bloodshot veined with deeper pink radiating from a deep magenta eye. This is one of the longest blooming cultivars and extremely floriferous. ZONE 5
